Construction Project Manager

About the Role

Onpoint Trading Ltd is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee all plumbing, heating, and construction installation projects. This is a managerial/professional role (RQF Level 6) and does not involve hands-on trade work.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple construction projects from inception to completion
• Develop project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress against milestones
• Prepare cost estimates, manage project budgets, and ensure financial targets are met
• Liaise with clients, architects, and main contractors
• Supervise subcontractors and site operatives
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (including CDM)
• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in construction project management (plumbing/heating sector preferred)
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, including CDM
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to prepare project budgets and manage costs
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office
• Full UK driving licence

Qualifications

Essential: NVQ Level 6 or equivalent in Construction Management, or relevant professional qualification (e.g., CIOB, APM). Or significant demonstrable experience at managerial level in construction project management.
