Construction Project Manager
Plumbing & Heating Projects | Bolton, Greater Manchester
About the Role
Onpoint Trading Ltd is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee all plumbing, heating, and construction installation projects. This is a managerial/professional role (RQF Level 6) and does not involve hands-on trade work.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple construction projects from inception to completion
- Develop project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress against milestones
- Prepare cost estimates, manage project budgets, and ensure financial targets are met
- Liaise with clients, architects, and main contractors
- Supervise subcontractors and site operatives
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (including CDM)
- Conduct site inspections and quality assurance
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in construction project management (plumbing/heating sector preferred)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, including CDM
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to prepare project budgets and manage costs
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence
Qualifications
Essential: NVQ Level 6 or equivalent in Construction Management, or relevant professional qualification (e.g., CIOB, APM). Or significant demonstrable experience at managerial level in construction project management.
Sponsorship Information
This role is eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route (SOC 2455). Salary meets the Home Office going rate. Onpoint Trading Ltd is a Home Office-licensed sponsor.
